How To Clean Conveyor Belts
Most are the times when people do not think of cleaning conveyor belts, due to the plain fact that they forget about them soon after they have served their purpose. There are however easy methods through which a conveyer belt can be cleaned. Armed with a spray bottle, fill it to three quarters with water then proceed to add liquid anti bacterial soap ensuring that it fills the remainder. After filling the remaining part with soap, shake the bottle vigorously, ensuring that the cork is well fixed, so as to allow the fluid to effectively mix and form a foamy solution.
The next step is to spray the conveyor belt, and for the best results you are advised to keep it running for one cycle as you carry out the task. It should be kept running for one complete cycle to prevent water damaging the inner parts due to leakage. The next step is to wipe it with a clean rag, and it is also advised that you keep it running s you do this, something that is aimed at ensuring that there are no wet spots. After you are sure that the conveyor belt is completely dry, stop it and then allow drying.
